Our Story
KLP Finance began in 1995 in a modest way — a single office in Thiruvananthapuram and a young entrepreneur, K L Pradeep, determined to build a financial services business on trust rather than volume. Three decades later, that same office has grown into a network of 8 branches across the district, but the way we work hasn’t changed: every customer’s gold is treated with the same care as if it were our own, and every valuation is done in the open, not behind closed doors.
Rather than chasing rapid, franchise-style growth, KLP Finance has expanded deliberately — branch by branch, neighbourhood by neighbourhood — into areas like Karakkamandapam, Paruthikkuzhi, Paravankunnu, Poonthura, Kallummoodu and Kazhakkoottam. That steady approach means our staff aren’t strangers; many have served the same families for years, across generations.

Founder & Managing Director, KLP Group
K L Pradeep started KLP Finance in 1995 with a simple conviction: that financial services should be built on straightforward, values-led relationships rather than pressure or fine print. Under his leadership, KLP Finance grew steadily into an established name in Thiruvananthapuram’s financial services landscape, while staying rooted in the same ethics and community focus it began with.
Outside the business, he is a keen traveller and trekker, with journeys across Europe, South America, the Middle East and Asia — experiences he documents on his own YouTube channel. That first-hand exposure to hospitality and trust in very different cultures has shaped how KLP Finance treats every customer who walks through its doors.
